Lovely cocktails in a cozy bar. room was a bit cramped for two.

Had a fantastic time! The afternoon tea was good, and the cocktails were great. The private dining area made our birthday celebration feel extra special.

The Classic King Room featured an old-world charm, with a large bed and adequate lighting, making it feel cozy. Despite the minor drawbacks, the room had a unique character with wooden beams and decorative elements that set a welcoming tone.

The hotel's odd location next to industrial units might make it feel less appealing right off the bat, though it didn’t detract from my overall experience. It’s worth noting there’s no air conditioning, which turned my stay uncomfortable on a warm night. I struggled to find enough outlets for the two electric fans provided. On a Sunday, prepare for the restaurant to close at 4:00 PM and the bar at 6:00 PM, leaving no evening dining options available. be aware that breakfast isn't served on Mondays, which can be a downside if you're counting on a proper meal before you leave.

Had an awesome time with my friends! Enjoyed a lovely dinner and breakfast. We took a relaxing walk along the riverbank, and some of us went on a boat trip, which was a blast. Just a heads up, the parking is free.

We were not reminded to register our car until later, which was a bit annoying, but we sorted it out quickly.

Had a lovely experience with the restaurant, staff super friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was spot-on, the place just felt right. Like when Claire at the reception said, 'We've got you covered! ' I felt welcomed immediately. Plus the room was really cozy, I mean you can't ask for more after a long day.

the welcome was super warm, and the decor was just lovely and inviting. the staff were all really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. we had dinner at the brasserie and omg, the food was top notch, especially the dessert! the room was cozy and comfy with soft towels that made it feel like home. overall, we had a relaxed and amazing stay.

though our room was comfy, it was a bit noisy in the morning hearing folks in the hallway. also, the bathroom was kinda small, which was a bit of a bummer.

the hotel is lovely, really nice decor and the staff were super friendly. breakfast was amazin too, loved the coffee and the service was quick. our room was clean and comfy, just what we needed for our stay. def enjoyed being able to park off the street, so convenient. overall, had a great time!

the bed was kinda hard and the room got really hot at night, even with the fan on.

Highly recommend trying the bar area for a cozy atmosphere and great cocktails. Just a heads-up, the rooms, albeit small, are beautifully decorated.

Just a proper fit for a hurried visit in Maldon with best value for money ratio. The night porter who found my bike was wonderful despite the early hour. If you’re there on a Sunday, plan your meals ahead since the restaurant might not be open.
